Operator. This application is operated by Testlane Limited ("we"), a UK company, for the purpose of providing financial reporting to the client companies whose QuickBooks Online accounts are connected to it. Contact: [email protected].
What we access. With a company administrator's authorisation, the application reads accounting data from QuickBooks Online through Intuit's API: company information, chart of accounts, customers, suppliers, items, classes, transactions (invoices, bills, payments, journals and similar) and reports (trial balance and general ledger). It does not read employee, payroll or time-tracking records, and bank account numbers, tax identifiers and card details are removed before anything is stored.
Read-only. The application never creates, changes or deletes anything in QuickBooks.
Where data is kept. Data is copied into Google Cloud (BigQuery and Secret Manager) in the London region (europe-west2), in a project dedicated to this purpose. Access is limited to named users of Testlane Limited and the client's authorised staff. Authorisation tokens are stored encrypted in Google Secret Manager.
Purpose and sharing. The data is used only to prepare management reporting and analysis for the connected companies. It is not sold, used for marketing, or shared with third parties other than Google Cloud as processor.
Retention and disconnection. A company administrator can disconnect the application at any time from QuickBooks (Apps > My Apps) or by asking us. On disconnection the stored authorisation token is deleted at once; copied data is deleted within 30 days of a request from the company, and in any case when the engagement ends.
Your rights. Individuals whose personal data (for example a customer contact name) appears in the accounting records may contact us at the address above about access, correction or deletion.
